Why is The DDA using a PayPal Giving Fund donate link?
The DDA are delighted to have been approved as a registered Charity with PayPal and their PayPal Giving Fund. When you donate via PayPal Giving Fund, it’s fee-free so 100% of your donation will be received by The DDA. PayPal Giving Fund is a UK registered Charity and is also registered with the Fundraising Regulator.
Will my donation reach you straight away?
Not quite.
PayPal Giving Fund sends donations periodically, so there may be a small delay before the funds arrive.
What about Gift Aid?
PayPal Giving Fund will ask you about Gift Aid during the donation process. PayPal Giving Fund, will email you a donation receipt with a link to add Gift Aid, so please look out for this. If you are a UK taxpayer and opt to add gift aid, this is worth an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you. Your support goes even further with Gift Aid!
What happens to my data?
Your donation is processed by PayPal Giving Fund, who provide privacy information and ask for your consent during the donation process. You can choose whether your details are shared with us, and we only receive donor information where consent is given.
Can I donate money directly to The DDA’s bank account instead?
Yes you can, please get in touch via our email address, theddaglobal@gmail.com and we will send you details for a bank transfer along with a gift aid declaration form.
